July 2019

July was a magical month! We adventured on our first ever trip to the mountains with VeriBean and stayed in a cozy little AirBNB cabin outside of Glenwood Springs! We swam in the main hot springs pool watching the sun set, went hiking at Rifle Falls (which was absolutely breathtaking), and spent time playing board games and reading books. The mosquitoes were pretty awful to the point that a fire outside at night was a no-go but that didn't bring us down! We made the most of every moment and really enjoyed our stay. The kiddos had the whole loft area to themselves and Verity slept in the pack-n-play off in the laundry room. We were thankful Bridget was in good enough health to make this final trip as a complete family as it ended up being her last trip to her beloved Rockies. We put her down on July 25th and have missed her since. What a joyful and wonderful pup she was. Our awesome friends Andrew and Rachel Bond came out from Florida and we were able to celebrate Simon's 5th...

June 2019

June was one of the best months so far this year.  The Harveys were here visiting from Texas which instantly created the opportunity to do more fun and exciting things with grandparents/great-grands. It's a breath of fresh air watching the "bigs" (Ami, Ever, and Gracie) just jump into step alongside each other as if they haven't been states away for a couple of years now. The babies were the cutest together and have some sweet snuggles as we picnicked with Grampy in Fort Collins after visiting the Discovery Museum. There were snuggles with Grandma and Grandpa on their back patio, and swinging in the country out at the Adamsons. It was just a lovely month in so many ways but here was a tiny glimpse. Verity is 7 Months old!

It seems like I keep getting blindsided by how fast this girl is growing up - but nevertheless here we are. Seven months with this babe earthside and so thankful our hearts could burst. She said "Momma" for her first word just days before turning this age and is scootching herself around the rug and rolling like a pro. She's loving solids and is a big fan of Beechnut baby pureed food - mostly green beans with sweet corn, apple + pumpkin + granola, and apple + cinnamon + granola.
