We had a fabulous July - complete with fireworks, our first week long camping trip with kiddos, an epic bluegrass festival, lots of splash park dates with friends, staying in Foco with the Netzers, and so much fun with family and celebrating Mom/Grandma/Jennie's 50th birthday. March 2016 from Kim Adamson on Vimeo . Our March was so much fun. Amity turned 4 on March 3rd and per her request we threw her an epic robot birthday party with her friends at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was a blast! We celebrated as well with her cousin Gracelynn (who had her first birthday on March 22nd) at our house with Grampy, and GGma and GGpa Adamson for a tasty brunch. The kids spent so much fun time with family and friends, it really made the month fly by. Easter ended up hitting at the tail end of the month too - and we had Everest baptized which was extremely special. Lots and lots of great memories this month with so many wonderful people. February 2016 from Kim Adamson on Vimeo . Lots of February felt like spring and summer, hence the music choice. We got outside a lot, Ever is being adventurous and taking 5-6 steps at a time, and Amity is as always - full of laughter, love, and fun. This month has been restful. January 2016 from Kim Adamson on Vimeo . This month we were somewhat homebodies after such a busy December. It felt good to be cozy and home a bunch with all the snow too. Amity got Go Fish for Christmas and has been loving playing that as often as possible. It's so fun. Everest is a pro going up and down stairs and stands unassisted but doesn't do much in the way of movement. That'll likely be next month though. Both kiddos are our little beacons and make our lives so much brighter. Excited to start off 2016 with such a fun month! Song: Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell

Everest and Amity met some family on the Frank side for the first time, spent lots of time with their adorable cousins Gracelynn and Cash, and had a lovely season of Advent leading up to Christmas. November 2016 from Kim Adamson on Vimeo . Our November has lots of memories of Amity reading, dancing, and playing pretend. Everest is still cruising around furniture and has the fastest "wing" foot you've ever seen when he breaks into his quick crawl (it's always the right leg too). We invited a new member into the family at the end of this month as well and he's warmed our hearts so much. Introducing Milo the red tabby with love that overflows and tolerance like none other for our littles. This month brought our first snow day and chance to make cookies for friends and family. July 2015 from Kim Adamson on Vimeo . This July we spent a week with the family up in Grand Lake in a huge cabin and soaked up tons of fun times! We had some special birthdays with friends and our besties, the Bond family, came out to visit, stayed with us for a night and we were even able to celebrate little Simon's first birthday! Ever officially learned to crawl and then started to pull himself up onto things. Crazy how that all happened in a span of 4 weeks. He can now say "uh oh," "whoa," "ooo," in addition to "mom-mom" and "dad-did." Amity helped us plant more ground cover plants in our backyard oasis and had her very first visit to the dentist with an excellent report! Summer is flying by but we've really enjoyed this month in particular! Song: Alone by Trampled by Turtles

Everest didn't enjoy the process of learning to roll a lot more this month and often found himself stuck in unpredictable places too. Amity, of course, still adored doting on her baby brother at every possible chance and snuggling him to capacity. We started to add a few solid foods to Ever's diet (don't worry - just baby purees) to see if he would sleep for longer stretches at night. The sleep deprivation was hitting pretty hard in this 5th month of life and we were feeling desperate. Easter was fun with so much time with family. Amity loves any excuse to get dressed up and feel glamorous. We even got to go get our nails painted (just Ami and I) for the first time.
