I think Kitchen Wednesdays might ring more true and so that's the new title for these sorts of days. See the new look? Though my daughter has strangely light brown hair, and very little of it, I did manage to get her first ponytail in the record books since she has the cutest little mohawk! Here's a couple shots of my lil helper sitting up for a bit all by herself! Today we decided to try out a Pinterest recipe for Stuffed Bell Peppers! These were absolutely delicious and will be going into our book of favorite dinners to make. Not to mention, they're super cheap, and incredibly healthy as well! With a side of guacamole, of course! Amity's Big Debut in Album Art!

We have fantastic friends. Tim Coons, a local, amazing, and inspirational song-writer and artist hosted a project recently for his latest album. In essence, he asked a bunch of his artsy friends to take pictures that would go along with a song he posted from the album, each week in July, that he might be able to use for album art after the album is released. It was a huge hit. I watched as literally dozens of images flooding my instagram feed all hashtagged with Potomacproject, the name of his new album. Verity Arrives

Verity was born February 22nd, 2019, at 10:28PM. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 20 inches tall. The week of February 18th didn't start out looking like it would be too eventful. Kim still had a couple weeks before her official due date, and we were in no hurry to get the baby out, because although Kim has always been excited to be done with those last weeks of pregnancy, we found out that our primary OB/GYN was going on vacation for the next weekend. Kim was still newly recovered from an ankle break in October, and had had a number of other minor pregnancy complications to deal with, so we figured we had the issues out of the way and had a week or two to relax and prep for the delivery. As it turns out, the baby was not going to cooperate with that schedule. Kim started having some minor Braxton-Hicks contractions mid week, and although those don't necessarily indicate that labor is imminent, they seemed to be getting a bit stronger and a bit more frequent.
